Description
A straight-cut jacket fashioned with a shawl collar, long sleeves with plain cuffs, and a hip-length hemline. The pelts are worked vertically with distinct dark spotting characteristic of American cat lynx. Front closure is concealed.
Vertical pelts create a streamlined line down the torso. A stroller is hip to mid-thigh, let out means each pelt cut into diagonal strips and resewn into a long narrow band, sheared means the guard hair removed and the underfur cut to one even depth, horizontal means the pelts run across the body, directional means they all run one way, and 7/8 stops just above the ankle. The garment weighs 6 lbs.
Every garment is made and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
