Hooded Fur Coats & Jackets

A hooded fur coat is the warmest thing we make: the hood keeps wind off the neck and ears without a hat, and falls back into a collar the moment you step inside. This collection brings together every women’s piece we make with a hood, from a hooded mink jacket to a full-length coat.

There are two kinds of hood. A fur-trimmed hood is made in the coat’s own pelt with a band of fox around the face, which frames it and catches the snow before it reaches you. A full fur hood is cut in fur all the way through: softer, warmer, and it sits like a shawl collar when it is down.

Lengths run from a hooded fur jacket that stops at the hip, through the stroller, our word for a coat that ends between the hip and mid-thigh, to full-length hooded fur coats, capes and ponchos. Mink is the lightest to wear every day; fox has more volume. The full ranges are in mink coats and jackets and fox fur coats.

Every piece is made and fitted in our New York workroom, and most can be ordered in another colour or with a different trim. Already own a coat whose hood trim is faux? We replace it with real fur in the colour of your choice.
