Our collection spans full-length coats, 7/8 silhouettes, mid-length strollers, waist-length bomber jackets, hooded capes, cropped boleros, and sleeveless vests. We tailor these garments for both men and women, including plus size cuts patterned specifically for balanced drape and ease of movement. Construction techniques range from traditional vertical pelt placement to modern directional layouts and casual stroller designs. Alongside natural silver fox and silver shadow fox, we also dye pelts to produce garments in deep royal blue, vivid fuchsia, and clear red. Since 1870, Marc Kaufman Furs has maintained an active workroom on West 30th Street in Manhattan, cutting, sewing, and servicing coats by hand. Every piece we sell can be adjusted and custom fitted to your exact proportions directly on site. To keep your fur in sound condition across decades, we handle regular maintenance in our Manhattan facility, providing cold storage during warm months, specialized fur cleaning, conditioning, and repair. Should your preferences change over time, our furriers can remodel an existing garment into an updated silhouette, transforming a full-length coat into a casual stroller or vest to extend its practical life.
