The silver fox skins display natural dark guard hairs tipped in white, creating the distinct banded shade shown here. Worn open over dark trousers, the garment showcases the heavy texture of the pelts.
Vertical pelts run in parallel lines from the shoulder to the hem, a directional method that accentuates the height of the wearer. Measuring nine pounds in weight, the heavy coat offers substantial warmth through the deep winter months. Each pelt maintains its natural length and density without shearing or trimming.
Every garment is made and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
