Description
A wide-leg trouser needs something short above it. A jacket to the hip cuts the leg off and the outfit looks heavy; one that stops at the lower ribs lets the whole waistband show and the line of the leg start where it should. That is the length of this dark brown mink crop jacket, and why it is photographed over high-rise, full-leg jeans.
Dark brown is the forgiving choice of the solid colours. It is warmer than black next to the face, it hides the wear a cuff gets, and it looks natural rather than dyed in daylight. It also takes a season of hard use well if it is cleaned and rested each spring.
Notched collar, puff sleeves, deep cuffs. See the brown mink coats, the rest of our mink jackets, and our cleaning and cold storage between winters.
