Description
A feathered cape built with horizontal rows of silver fox fur frames the shoulders and drapes down past the hips with a rounded collarless neckline. Slits at the sides allow the arms to pass through freely while the full pelts create a dense, voluminous silhouette. The piece weighs 4 lbs.
Horizontal construction means the pelts run across the body in distinct bands that emphasize the natural contrast of the silver tips against the dark underfur. This layout distributes the weight evenly across the shoulders while keeping the movement of the pelts fluid.
Every garment is made and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
