Our current collection includes full-length coats, swing strollers, and mid-length walking coats built with various garment constructions. We assemble these garments using skin-on-skin methods, directional fur placement, and decorative grooving designs, including chevron hems and swirling pelt work. Several pieces feature accents such as Russian golden sable collars and full sable tuxedo fronts, while others incorporate tonal leather trim, bell sleeves, or ruffled shawl collars. We also craft relaxed kimono cuts and full swing silhouettes alongside dedicated plus-size patterns, ensuring each garment balances proper weight distribution across the shoulders with fluid movement through the body.

Every whiskey mink coat in our inventory is handled directly by our furriers in our West 30th Street workroom in Manhattan. Marc Kaufman Furs has operated continuously in New York since 1870, maintaining the specialized hand-cutting and sewing equipment required for precision fur tailoring. When you select a piece, we adjust sleeve lengths, hem lines, and closures to your exact measurements on-site. As the seasons change, our facility provides specialized cold fur storage, gentle cleaning, and glazing to protect the natural oils in the leather. Should your preferences evolve over time, our craftsmen can also remodel, recut, or restyle your coat to keep it functional for decades to come.
