Description
Red mink is worked in vertical panels through the body of this cape, cut full so it falls from the shoulder and swings away at the hem. A deep hood is bordered in matching fox, with the same fur banding the hem and finishing the ties at the throat with two poms.
Red is a dyed shade and it takes an even pelt to carry it, since any variation in depth shows as a patch. The matched fox at the hood and hem keeps the colour continuous around the whole garment. A cape has no sleeve seam, so the arms move freely under it and the shoulder line stays soft.
