Description
A horizontally worked jacket in turquoise green rex rabbit features a full attached hood and a front zipper closure. The pelt rows run continuously across the body and sleeves, creating a banded texture in the dyed shade. Standard set-in sleeves and a cropped waist-length hem complete the garment structure shown in the photograph.
Horizontal means the pelts run across the body, forming distinct parallel rows around the torso rather than vertical lines. This layout emphasizes the width of the banded color blocks and utilizes six pounds of material to construct the jacket. Each pelt is matched and sewn horizontally to maintain the alignment of the turquoise green tones.
Every garment is made and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
