Description
Pale fur near a hood is where most jackets fail, because the hood touches collars, make-up and hair every single time you wear it. An ivory white hooded mink jacket earns its annual clean more than a dark one does — not because it is fragile, but because it shows what the black one is hiding. Ours come back through our vaults each summer and the colour comes back with them.
The shade is unbleached cream rather than a stark white, so it sits against skin instead of draining it, and the leather is matched to it: the placket the zip runs on, the pocket bands, and the wide cuffs that flare and turn back. The hood is lined in the same fur and cut deep enough to stand.
Altered and fitted at West 30th Street. Compare it against the other whites and ivories, or the full run of fur jackets. Storage, cleaning and repairs all happen in our own building. The bag and boots are styling; the jacket is sold on its own.
