Description
Structured from black Russian broadtail with a wide Russian sable collar, this jacket features long sleeves with simple cuffs and a hip-length hemline. The garment closes in the front and frames the upper body with a substantial plush collar that drapes over the shoulders. Each pelt used in the construction has been selected to match the overall black coloration and patterned texture characteristic of broadtail.
A stroller is hip to mid-thigh, and the weight of this piece is 6 lbs, reflecting the density of the pelts and the substantial collar construction. The combination of flat-textured broadtail and dense, long-haired sable provides a contrast in both texture and volume across the garment. The cut maintains a straight silhouette from the shoulders to the hem.
Every garment is made and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
