Vertical let-out pelts form the body of this American belly lynx stroller, featuring a standing collar, wide cuffs, and no belt. The light American belly lynx pelts display distinct dark spotting against white fur, running down the coat in clean alignment.
Let out means each pelt is cut into diagonal strips and resewn into a long narrow band, a technique that requires precision for uniform density across the garment. A stroller is hip to mid-thigh in length, and this piece weighs 7 lbs.
This garment is made and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
