Plastic does not rot, it just breaks down into tiny particles called micro plastics and these penetrate the soil, the water supply, the oceans, our food and our animal feed. Scientists have estimated plastic has a lifespan of between 450 – 1000 years. It is poisoning the oceans – killing millions of sea animals each year.

Jennifer Lopez has come under fire from animal rights groups by posing for Vanity Fair magazine in a white fox fur coat.
In the new issue of Vanity Fair, J-Lo, who rumored to have tired of being told what to wear by her soon-to-be-ex-husband, poses for photographer Mario Testino wearing nothing but the coat and a pair of gold strappy sandals.
The actress and singer has angered campaigners for years as a result of her love of furs. The magazine has confirmed that she is wearing real fur.

In the accompanying interview, J-Lo, who split from her husband of seven years, Marc Anthony said that ending her marriage was “the hardest decision I’ve ever had to face.”

She says: “Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself – if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”
