Description
A cape made of black fox fur featuring a collar and a hem finished with hanging tails. The pelts run vertically through the body, showing long guard hairs and dense underfur. It fastens down the front and has long straight sleeves without cuffs.
Vertical construction means the pelts are aligned up and down to follow the natural grain of the skin, creating clean parallel lines along the length. At four pounds, the garment carries a substantial weight that keeps the pelts hanging straight and weighted at the hem. The tail-trimmed lower edge adds distinct texture and movement to the silhouette.
Every garment is made and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
