Description
Knit construction forms a capelet in black mink, shaped with a rounded collar and an offset side zipper closure. The waist-length piece falls over the shoulders with an open hem and sleeveless cut, worn here over a long-sleeved dark top.
Knit fur fabrication utilizes narrow strips of pelt worked onto a flexible mesh backing, creating a lightweight textile that weighs 3 lbs. Horizontal rows of pelts run across the body in a circular arrangement from the neckline to the lower hem.
Every piece at Marc Kaufman Furs is made and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
