Description
Horizontal pelts build a jacket of vivid red fox, styled with a high stand collar and long straight sleeves. The skins run in horizontal bands across the body, creating an unbroken ring of texture from shoulder to hip. Unfastened at the front, the piece falls to the upper hip with a clean, unbelted hem.
Horizontal construction means the pelts run across the body rather than vertically. Weighing 6 lbs, the garment carries substantial warmth through its banded layout, keeping the dense underfur aligned with the shape of the jacket.
Crafted and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
