A fawn jacket crafted from sheared beaver pelts, featuring a standing collar, a center front zipper closure, and long bishop sleeves with black floral intarsia appliques. It has hip-length construction with side pockets and voluminous cuffs.
Sheared means the guard hair removed and the underfur cut to one even depth. This 6 lbs garment utilizes dense, plush pelts clipped to a uniform velvety texture that highlights the pale shade and the dark contrast of the sleeve decoration.
Every garment is made and altered in our own New York workroom, and will be fitted before it leaves.
