Description
Horizontal pelts form the body of this full-length gold fox fur coat, featuring a wide notched collar and deep turn-back cuffs. The front panels are worn open or closed over straight sleeves, creating an unbroken vertical line from the shoulders down to the ankles. Long guard hairs and dense underfur provide substantial coverage against cold weather.
Horizontal construction means the pelts run across the body rather than vertically down the garment. This alignment draws the eye outward across the silhouette and showcases the natural shading of the skins in continuous parallel bands. The finished coat has a substantial weight of 9 lbs, reflecting its heavy-duty pelts and full-length coverage.
