Description
Blue iris is a natural mink shade, a cool blue-grey rather than a dye. It is rarer than ranch or mahogany and it photographs quite differently from either, reading almost silver in daylight and much darker indoors.
Full length, cut for a man, nine pounds. The weight sits in the skirt where it belongs, so the shoulders carry less than the length suggests.
This is altered in our own New York workroom before it ships. We take in, let out, shorten and reline, and the fitting is part of the price.
