Description
Ivory mink runs down the body of this jacket to just above the knee, drawn in at the waist by a self belt, with ivory fox forming the shawl collar, the deep turned-back cuffs and a band across the hem.
Pale fur shows every join, so an ivory jacket is only as good as the matching: the pelts are chosen for one depth of colour and one length of hair before any of them is cut. The fox is a shade lighter than the mink on purpose, which is what separates the collar from the body instead of letting the two blend.
Made and altered in our own workroom in the New York fur district, where Marc Kaufman Furs has worked since 1870. Every piece is fitted to you before it leaves us.
