Description
A men’s Blackglama mink jacket built for a man who wants fur with an edge. Blackglama is the trademarked name for the deepest, darkest natural ranch mink raised in North America — not dyed, simply the pelt’s own near-black colour and extraordinary sheen. Here that black mink is cut into a hip-length jacket and paired with dark brown suede panels across the body and upper sleeves, finished with studded leather strapping at the shoulders and forearms.
The result reads modern and casual rather than formal. This is a mink jacket to wear over a knit and jeans, not only over tailoring. The broad notch collar sits open or turns up against real cold, and zippered pockets with leather trim carry the moto influence through the whole piece.
Every men’s fur jacket we sell is cut and matched by hand in our own workroom in New York City’s fur district, where Marc Kaufman Furs has made fine fur since 1870. Sizing and alterations are available, and every purchase is backed by in-house cleaning, glazing and cold storage.
