Pre-owned is the honest word and it is worth being plain about what it means. This black fox fur coat came back to us, was gone over in the workroom where it would have been repaired if it needed it, and is being sold at a fraction of what the same coat costs new. There is one. Size 52-54, and it cannot be made again in another size.

Fox is the right fur to buy this way. The guard hair is long and springy and recovers from being worn in a manner that a short flat pile does not, so a fox coat that has been looked after reads as new far longer than anything sheared. The body here is worked in horizontal sections, which is the heavy traditional construction, and the collar is an enormous shawl that rolls right across the shoulders.
