Description
A full length yellow mink coat with a matching skirt. A fur suit is far harder to make than a coat, and the reason is dye: two garments made from separate lots will never quite agree, and the eye catches the difference immediately. Both pieces here came from one lot, matched pelt to pelt, which is why a set like this is rare and why it costs what it does.
The colour is a warm golden yellow rather than a cold one — worked into the guard hair so the tone has depth, with the underfur left paler beneath it.
How to wear it
Together, at least once. A matched set worn as a suit is a genuinely rare sight, and it is what the pieces were made for.
Then separately, for the rest of the time. The coat over jeans and the skirt with a black knit are two entirely different outfits, and most owners end up wearing them apart more often than together.
