The shearling comes from animals that are part of our food chain. The shearling skins are a by-product of the meat industry. If not for the value of the hides, meat prices would go up tremendously.

Once a shearling skin is removed from the animal before meat processing, the shearling hide gets delivered to a tannery for tanning, shearing, and dying. The work to tan a fur or shearling, shearling, and dye a shearling takes a one week process, which creates 10,000’s of jobs.

Wholesale Shearlings

If you have a store and want to carry a shearling collection, we offer our shearlings wholesale with a minimum order of 6 men’s or woman’s garments.

Maintaining a designer shearlings coat or jacket is essential. The life of your shearling will extend many years with proper care.

We offer a wide selection of high-quality real fur coats, genuine jackets, and plus-sized garments. Our mission is to provide luxury garments at affordable pricing.

Hustlers Movie Strip Clubs JLo Furs

Hustlers Strip Club Fashion

Jennifer Lopez struts onto the main stage of a cavernous strip club in “Hustlers” to the blaring tune of Fiona Apple’s late ‘90s anthem “Criminal”—the first line of which, “I’ve been a bad, bad girl,” suggests the knowing, playful tease to come.

Lusty men in musty suits immediately begin throwing money at her legendary derriere—not Lopez’s, exactly, but that of the veteran exotic dancer she portrays, the impeccably preserved Ramona. Still, it’s hard to discern completely between Lopez the superstar and the larger-than-life character she plays in “Hustlers,” and that’s part of the pleasure of watching this career-best performance from the multi-talented multi-hyphenate. We know this figure—we see the swagger, the magnetism, the incandescent ability to work an audience. Jennifer Lopez repurposed and repackaged all her well-honed skills here as a reminder that she is naturally gifted actress before she was known as JLo.

JLo’s gift for fashion is apparent in the film. She is gifting the most beautiful lynx coat to her friend Constance Wu. Jennifer wore many furs in the movie, but she sports this beautiful Golden Island Fox Coat on our power move. She shows who the boss is during a segment of this film.

History of Hustlers Movie

On June 11, 2014, four women and one man indicted for allegedly drugging men and charging thousands of dollars on their credit cards at New York City clubs. Five years later, one of those women — Roselyn “Rosie” Keo, considered one of the scheme’s two ringleaders — posed for photographers at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Keo, who was sentenced to five years probation in 2016, was in Toronto to watch her own story play out onscreen in Hustlers, a new movie from writer-director Lorene Scafaria, which premiered at the festival on Sept. 7 and hits theaters nationwide Sept. 13.

Hustlers is based on Jessica Pressler’s December 2015 New York magazine article “The Hustlers at Scores Strip Club,” for which the journalist interviewed both Keo and the scheme’s other leader, Samantha Foxx (née Barbash; This story will refer to her as Barbash since that is the name she went by at the time and the name listed in court documents). The women recounted a deep friendship that turned to sisterhood which then turned dark.

Hustlers Story

Scafaria read Pressler’s article, the filmmaker tells TIME, she “found it to be a fascinating friendship story at its core.” She says she knew that if she were to adapt this story for the screen, it had to come from Pressler’s article, rather than court documents and tabloids. This way, a character based on Pressler could serve as a stand-in for the viewer, allowing the audience to empathize with the characters. “I thought that Jessica and Rosie’s relationship was incredibly interesting — the relationship between a storyteller and their subject,” Scafaria says.

Some details of what the Special Narcotics Prosecutor called “repugnant scheme” altered for the film. Scafaria set out to be faithful to the story Pressler wrote, even cutting out the movie’s sound at one point when a recorder used by the movie’s reporter (who is based on Pressler and played by Julia Stiles) is flipped off. She changed the names of the leading women: Roselyn Keo becomes Destiny, played by Constance Wu; Jennifer Lopez’s character, Ramona, is inspired by Barbash. Her business partners, Karina Pascucci and Marsi Rosen, are loosely translated into Annabelle (Lili Reinhart) and Mercedes (Keke Palmer). Cardi B, Lizzo, and a male R&B star (whose identity is best left to viewers to learn upon watching the film) make appearances in the movie, too.

“The responsibility to the truth and what happened,” Scafaria says, “and it’s not a black and white story, after all.”

Why Should You Wear Fur Coats Everyday?

Marc Kaufman is a household name when it comes to Fur Coats, and we do not disappoint. Luxury wear is something everyone desires, and we provide the public with precisely that. From mink coats and sable coats to Shearling, chinchilla and lynx coats and jackets – you name it, and we have it!

Classic Emerald Green Fox Jacket

We believe fur coats, no matter what kind, can elevate an outfit and make you look your best every day. The days you do not feel like dressing up – we’ve all been there – can be fixed by a good, luxury fur coat. A good quality fur coat can make you look like you own the day, no matter how plain your outfit is under it.

Celebrities all over the world are donned in luxury fur coats and jackets, so why can’t you? We have picked a few styles of coats and jackets from our collection to help you give your everyday outfits that extra glam it needs.

Mink Coats and Jackets

Classic Blackglama Mink Coat

Mink coats are arguably the most popular choice when one buys their first fur coat. The lightweight and soft texture, Mink has maintained a good reputation in the world of fur. At Kaufman, we have a wide variety of Mink furs you can choose from, from every color to every shape.

Most popularly paired with evening gowns, a long Mink Coat can be a great addition to a sleek, body-hugging dress as well. Knee-high boots with a glossy leather skirt and a figure-hugging high-neck can be paired with a long Mink Coat, and we assure you there is nothing classier than this look.

If you are going for a more casual, laid-back look, we suggest wearing a short Mink Jacket. These go with just about anything, from mom jeans to a casual dress. The short Mink Jackets are great for a casual night out with your friends or going to family dinners.

Chinchilla Coats and Jackets

Pink Chinchilla Horizontal Jacket

Chinchilla is the softest and the most delicate fur of all. A Chinchilla coat has the power to make heads turn all around you. Chinchilla coats usually come in a black and white combination but can be dyed in the colors you desire.

Because these coats come in such monochrome colors, they can be paired with a very bright outfit. A white Chinchilla coat would look great on a bright, Barbie-pink dress paired with white boots. Black Chinchilla jackets look amazing on men when paired with black denim and a plain white T-shirt. A Chinchilla coat or jacket can easily make a mundane outfit look straight out of a runway.

Shearling Coats and Jackets

Brown Shearling Jacket

A Shearling Coat or Jacket is like the poster-child of wintertime. Because they are made out of lambskin or sheepskin, they are incredibly soft to the touch and provide you with all the comfort you need on the chilly winter nights. These coats and jackets don’t just make you look good but make you as warm as you want to be.

Winter is here, and it’s time to get your Shearling out of the closet. At Kaufman, we have all types of Shearling Coats and Jackets available – long, short, hooded, and any other style you wish to possess. Celebrities are seen wearing these coats every winter for their street wear, so we can take a little inspiration from them.

Short Shearling jackets have an edgy look to them and can be paired best with blue denim and a crop top. They can also be paired with sportswear, as the short jackets fit wonderfully with sweats and trousers with running shoes. Just imagine, going to the gym in luxury wear. That is the dream, and we can make it happen!

Long Shearling coats can be worn with a sporty skirt and your joggers. They are also worn by something as plain as dark denim and a plain white T-shirt, the most casual one can get. For men, they can pair their Shearling Jackets and Coats with denim and formal shoes along with a formal shirt or a T-shirt. These jackets make men look classy with a hint of edge to them.

Normalize Wearing Fur Coats Everyday

All of these different types of luxury coats can be thrown over the most straightforward looks, and you can make it look like you put a lot of effort into them. No matter what you’re wearing, sweats or leggings and a plain shirt, these coats will make it look like you are the poster-child of luxury.

Do not be afraid of wearing a luxury, designer coat for everyday wear. No, it does not look like it’s too much. If anything, these branded coats make you look like the embodiment of high-fashion and who does not want that? No matter what your style is, edgy, chic, bohemian or artsy – at Kaufman, we have the best luxury coats to help make you look your best no matter where you go.

Go through our website to browse some of the top quality, luxury coats you can find online. Many celebrities, from Kim Kardashian to Cardi B and Snoop Dogg, have donned our coats and made them a timeless staple.

The COVID-19 ridden world could use a bit of brightening up, and we believe our coats and jackets do just that. Feeling fancy once in a while won’t hurt anyone, and indeed not the way you look. Kaufman can help make you look trendier and fancier no matter what outfit you have got on.

Which Real Fur has the Most Value?

Which Real Fur has the Most Value?

Fur has been a part of the fashion industry for many years. Whether accepted or controversial, it always has had some involvement in the field in one form or another. During one period it was the highest and most demanded item. It appears that in recent years it might be getting its comeback after all. Many people question which specific type of fur carries the most value in terms of monetary means as well as style. Many consider it now to be a ‘niche’ product that is worn by a few people. Despite the lack of numbers, it still remains to be iconic.  Many wealthy investors are keen on keeping the trend going.

Top Furs of the Industry

When it comes to which carries the most value, the most commonly seen furs that are seen are the Mink, Sable and Chinchilla. These are placed at the highest price and labelled as ‘chic’ by buyers. Each of them has their own sense of style and quality that makes them stand out from the generic ones. One of their most vital qualities is the warmth factor. Many jackets and coats tend to fall behind when it comes to quality, but when it comes to the top furs, they never let the one who wears them feel the slightest chill.

Mink

This is one of the most famous types of fur that is high in demand in the market. Any person fond of fashion will know the importance and allure that Mink has to offer. It is deemed to be the first fur coat that any woman would buy. With its unique features of being a lightweight, unique sheen, soft texture, and long life, the mink fur was the one that everyone wanted. Even today, the demand for it remains relatively surprisingly high. The fur is usually seen in dark colors of brown. The favorite color theme is the chocolate shade that ranges in price from $1000 to over $50,000.

Sable

Like the Mink fur, the Sable carries a considerable amount of value in the fashion world. Known for its silky pelt, it contains the smoothness that other furs lack. Whether you stroke it left or right, up or down, even in circles, the quality of it never fails. As of today, a jacket containing Sable starts around the price of $16,000, but if you’re a picky buyer and want the best quality, get ready to pay up to $150,000 for the hottest silvery coat.

Chinchilla

Fabulous Chinchilla Fur Stroller Wide Collar

Ask any fashion enthusiast; the Chinchilla is one of the most distinct furs out there. Identified by its slate blue-grey color, this fur type is in a league of its own, surpassing much of its competition. Though a lightweight, it compensates with its high hair density, making it a ravishing sight. It even carries a considerable amount of softness and warmth as well. However, like most exceptional pieces, it comes at a price. Most Chinchillas are very difficult to maintain, hence its high cost and needs to be maintained at all times. Currently, the price ranges from $30,000 to $100,000.

Investment and Buying Tips

Most fur garments vary in quality and quantity depending on a series of factors such as location, topography, pelt quality, retailer cost, designer label, weather and season. One flaw that sellers tend to face is that furs don’t generally appreciate in value. If a price has been placed, it is difficult to make it higher, due to the small number of niche customers available. In the long run, however, if the sellers can keep its quality maintained well, then their resale value can increase with time.

The better these products are taken care, of, the more their value increases. No customer in their right mind would consider buying a fur that is in bad shape. To accomplish that though is the hard part. Humidity remains to be every furs worst nightmare. Once the temperature turns warm, that is the time to place all your furs in a storage space where the temperature is kept balanced at all times.

Before deciding which garment you would like to buy or invest in, always try to have an idea about the product before doing so. The price is already high, and it would be sensible to be sure about what you’re putting your money into. Make sure that the fur aligns with your skin tone and hair color as well, because that makes the combination more effective as a whole. Remember, you are going to be a sight for sore eyes, let the furs help you achieve that. Don’t worry about what time of day it is, wear the garment day and night if you must, as it will make you more accustomed to it.

Keep track of the styles that are hot in the trends. As of today, the furs are usually dyed with colors that are not found in nature, to add more appeal and flavor to it. If you prefer a classic full-length style with colors of black, brown, and silver, then make sure it fits with your overall look.

Make sure to look up sellers who might be offering deals that are appealing to your tastes and financial means. The ones who are providing the garments from the United States and Europe tend to have those of better quality. If you are conflicted about buying due to ethical reasons, then you can ask where the fur initially came from. If that is not enough, then you can apply the estate route, which will give you a used piece from a vintage clothing store. It may not be the best of quality, but it will have some of the features that you enjoy.

Even today, not many can point a finger and say that one specific type of fur carries the most value. Still, it cannot be denied that the three fur titans of Mink, Chinchilla and Sable continue to dominate the market and have a value that transcends the rest.

Reasons Why Real Fur will Always be Better

Reasons Why Real Fur will Always be Better

Many celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé, have been spotted wearing real fur on multiple occasions. While there is a considerable debate between real fur and faux, only its always the authentic material that gives you satisfaction. Therefore, here are a few pointers on why real fur will always, without a doubt, be better.

Environment Friendly

If we talk about sustainability, real fur takes the trophy there without a doubt. Real fur is a natural, renewable resource. By the use of real fur, we can manage to avoid causing damage to the natural habitat. Because faux fur – the only alternative for real fur – is made of synthetics, it does not promote sustainable use of our environment.

The fur industry does not use any endangered species to make fur items, which is a huge misconception around the world. Many governments around the world instil specific laws, rules and regulations to make sure no endangered species are being used in this business. Moreover, faux fur has been proven to cause cancer among with other health issues, whereas real fur is 100% human friendly. Because fur coats are a 100% natural and environmentally friendly, they tend to last for a long time unlike faux fur, which is non-biodegradable and a threat to the environment.

Fashion Trend for the Ages

Fur coats have been around for a very long time, and will possibly never go out of fashion. The great thing about buying a real fur coat or jacket is that if you get one today, you can keep on wearing it for a very long time and eventually pass it over to someone. Fur coats and jackets are timeless; they never go out of fashion. Because real fur lasts a long time, it is a great asset to have as it will forever compliment your outfits no matter what.

No matter what debate one brings on, they cannot deny that real fur coats steal the attention from everyone around them. Real fur is such a fashion statement that it makes heads turn towards it everywhere. Unlike real fur, faux fur looks relatively cheap and has a sour finish, and needs to be replaced regularly because it lacks the durability required for longer life.

The Comfort of Real Fur

Because of the chilly nights, people need proper warmth and comfort to get through them. Authentic fur is not heavy or bulky; it has the perfect weight to keep you warm and comfortable on those cold nights.

Real fur is exceptionally soft and smooth, unlike faux fur, which can feel rougher and feel inexpensive to the touch. No matter what people believe, real fur is better than faux fur when it comes to comfort as it feels like the luxurious item it is.

The fur is known to be one of the best insulators around. Because real fur coats have an inner lining or wool padding, they are genuinely better at providing comfort and warmth, unlike faux fur coats. Breathability is also a significant factor that contributes to the debate about why real fur will always be better. Faux fur is not breathable like real fur, which makes it easier for people to wear real fur coats.

Texture

It can be a little hard for people to tell faux fur apart from real fur, but there is a big difference between them. While faux fur feels very coarse to the touch, real fur is much softer and silkier. Faux fur can also shed if you run your fingers through it, which is not the case for real fur. Real fur feels very luxurious, as it should. Kaufman makes real, authentic fur coats that look as luxurious as they feel.

The hair on a real fur coat is light and glossy, and you can easily run your fingers through it. Whereas faux fur is very stiff, and the tips of the hair are blunt. By running your hand through faux fur, you can quickly tell it is not real, as the strands of hair get tangled with each other.

Shedding of Fur

Like we have mentioned above, shedding can be an issue when it comes to faux fur. Because the hair is artificial, the strands loosen and start shedding from the faux fur coat over time. On the other hand, with real fur, one does not have to go through such incidents as the hair on the fur coat forever stays intact and remains as smooth as ever. No matter how much you pull and put a strain on it, real fur coats will never have blind spots and shedding like faux fur coats.

At Kaufman, we guarantee you will never have to face any of these issues as we design quality, real fur coats, and jackets. For our customers to have the best fur coat experiences, we use real fur, which we believe is the safer and more environmentally friendly option.

Whether you want Mink Coats, Chinchilla coats, Chinchilla jackets, Shearling coats, and jackets, or Lynx coats, the Marc Kaufman Family has all of them available. We very faithfully believe in the fact that real fur will always be better because of how authentic the product is. Real fur has so many more benefits that faux fur does not, and cannot achieve because of its synthetic material.

Real fur can make anyone shine and look the best in a room, no matter what outfit they have paired with it. Kaufman truly believes the collection of fur coats they have available can help customers feel their best and look their best. Real fur provides real warmth, and you can have that while looking the most stylish you have ever looked. So, as winter is here, these benefits of having a real fur coat should make you want to own one by now.

Buying Real Designer Fur Coat: Which Variety Is Worth the Most?

How to Maintain Real Fur Coats?

Buying Real Designer Fur Coat: Which Variety Is Worth the Most?

As the winds blow and the weather begins to turn cold, our thoughts naturally turn towards warm winter apparel and one of the first things that come to our mind is a luxurious Designer Fur Coat. Fur has been around for several decades, and nothing speaks elite, glamour and elegance as much as fur. In fact, the popularity of fur has risen to such a great extent that any fashionable woman’s closet is incomplete without at least one fur item.

When it comes to real fur, there are a couple of types to choose from. However, choosing the best fur in terms of aesthetics, warmth, durability, and cost is similar to choosing a car. For most people, it is unrealistic to buy more than two cars since it is a significant investment. Furs are the same, and thus it is essential to choose real fur that fits your personal lifestyle and is worth the money. Now, whether you are ready to buy an exquisite designer fur coat or if you are just looking to add in a pop of luxury to your autumn/winter wardrobe, being informed about which variety is worth it before you go shopping is always a great idea.

Types of fur

Fur has a wide variety of options for you to choose from, and each one has its own unique, heavenly blend of materials, texture, and attributes. There are long-haired furs for example fox and those with dense under furs such as beaver, chinchilla, and mink. These are renowned for their warmth. On the other hand, possum, raccoon, and beaver are highly esteemed for their durability and affordability.

Moving to the lower price ranges of fur, there is a rabbit and hare fur. Lastly, the most expensive, luxurious, and desirable furs in the world are namely: mink, chinchilla and sable. Now, among the most-popular furs, a top-of-the-line sable fur coat can cost as high as $150,000. Although, even a lower-priced mink coat can cost at least about $1,000. Looking at these sky-high prices, in order to understand which variety of fur is worth more and the reasons for it’s worth, let’s take a closer look at the various types of fur.

Mink:

Mink happens to be one of the world’s most popular fur choices and for a good reason. It is incredibly soft, lightweight, versatile, is available in an impressive range of styles and comes in the most natural colors. Some of which are browns, earthy tones, pearls, blues, and lavenders. Not to mention, the best part is that mink can be dyed in nearly any color.

The starting price for mink fur coats is $1000, and it goes up to & $15,000.

Sable:

A sable fur coat is one of the most coveted, rarest, and expensive furs. It is known for its silky pelt that is able to retain smoothness regardless of which direction it is stroked. The two different variations in sable are Russian and Canadian. Russian sable fur coats are brown with silver casts, long-haired, lightweight, and available at the price of $15,000 and above. Canadian ones come in amber tones are less expensive but nevertheless just as gorgeous. Normally these range from $10,000 to $150,000.

Russian Barguzin Sable

Chinchilla:

Chinchilla fur is lavish, ultra-soft, prestigious, and the perfect choice to add to any collection. It is widely recognized for it’s oh so glamorous slate blue-grey, silvery color and can be worn in several different ways such as casual, trendy, or high fashion. Because chinchilla is very difficult to work with and requires proper care, it is expensive. As a matter of fact, it will need to be cleaned every year regardless of how little it has been used because the hair on the coat is fragile and need proper attention.

The price range of a Chinchilla fur coat starts from $5,000 and goes up to $100,000.

The bottom line

Fur coats are those garments that will truly never go out of style in any time period. The prices of fur coats tend to vary according to the making, geographical location, designer label and some other factors. Undoubtedly, it can be challenging when it comes to choosing the best fur coat and determining which variety is worth the most. However, in the end, the decision is dependent on factors such as personal choice and comfort.

All the furs mentioned above are of premium quality and undergo proper treatment in the process of manufacturing and designing. Moreover, in terms of popularity and functionality, mink, sable, and chinchilla are equally competing against each other and have won the hearts of many females and males. However, with that being said, for numerous people, chinchilla has been the winner in every sense, and people have invested a huge sum of money to add a beautiful chinchilla fur coat to their wardrobe.

If asked, “Why do you think people wear coats in the winter?”, many people will answer “Obviously, to keep themselves warm!”. However, the time when winter Love Fur Coats were only used for protection against the cold, is long gone. We’re not saying that you can’t use them for that purpose, but people these days wear winter coats for a whole new experience. Out of all the winter coats out there, fur coats are the most popular type.

By popular, we don’t mean that every other person in town owns one. It is more accurate to say that many people dream of owning one. This is primarily due to the price of real fur, as it can cost you a fortune. Fur coats are a hot topic all over the world. So, what’s all the fuss about in a fur coat? • Incredible Warmth and Comfort

Let’s start with the reason everyone believes to be true. Without a doubt, fur coats will keep you warm even in those freezing temperatures. Whether you live in New York City, or up in Alaska, fur coats can protect you in a wide range of climates. Fur is the most wonderful type of insulating material. It helps to keep your body’s heat trapped inside and does not let the cold touch you. No wonder animals can easily survive outdoors in harsh weather conditions!

Along with providing warmth, fur coats are extremely comfortable. You won’t know it, but your skin needs to breathe too. Dressing up in layers won’t help you. Clothes made out of synthetic fibers may be too thick and can cause sweat to accumulate on your skin. On the other hand, real fur has a property which is called breathability. It refreshes your skin and allows sweat to evaporate. Moreover, fur coats are less bulky than other winter coats. Surely, wearing a fur coat will take you through cold winter days most comfortably.

  • Looks, Style, and Attention

Women often wear them to attract men. But gender doesn’t matter when we talk about the glamour these coats bring to your life. Whoever you are, wherever you are, heads will turn if you enter a party wearing a stylish fur coat.

Furthermore, you can choose furs that resonate with your personality. Different forms exist for different people. If you prefer vintage, go for a stunning black and grey chinchilla coat. • Height of Durability

The durability of furs can be described in two ways. Firstly, the material itself is very long-lasting compared to synthetic fur. If you take good care of your real fur coats in the off-season, you might not need to replace them for years. In fact, they may even be passed down in generations. • Yes, you heard it right!

The fur industry is one of the most sustainable industries in the world. Governments have placed regulations for the sustainable farming of animals, and it is prohibited to hunt for extinct species. There is an abundance of animals such as foxes, minks and chinchillas. Even if a few are hunted for their fur, nature will not be depleted of them. This makes these animals a renewable resource.

On the other hand, the production of fake furs and most other clothing articles uses up by-products of petroleum. We already have machinery and vehicles to use up fossil fuels. We don’t need to harm the environment with our clothing. Moreover, the fur industry involves plenty of small businesses owned by locals, which also leads to the sustainable development of the economy.

  • Eco-friendly Apparel

When an industry is sustainable, it goes without saying that it’s eco-friendly as well. The responsible use of animals, as well as the use of renewable resources, is equal to protecting the environment. Also, fur is naturally bio-degradable, whereas the plastics that are used to produce other materials are not at all. In fact, old clothes contribute to a tremendous amount of landfill space all over the US.

If this doesn’t sound convincing to you, take a look at the US Environmental Protection Agency’s facts and figures about material waste. Americans throw away 14 million tons of clothing annually, and about 80% of it ends up in landfill sites. Don’t you think more people should switch to natural apparel such as fur coats? Even if you throw away your fur after using it for many years, it will not harm the environment in any way.

  • Health Benefits
