Two black jackets, one stripe, hood up on hers. This couples blue striped black mink set is the women’s and the men’s hooded jacket of the striped design, sold and fitted as one: black skins worked in horizontal bands, a full hood on each, a zip to the chin, a band of bright blue beside orange from shoulder to cuff on every sleeve, and both flap pockets crossed with the same two colours. A pair bought together is fitted together, in our own workroom on West 30th Street, so the stripes land at the same height on the two of you and a hem is taken up or let down while you wait. Hers is also sold on its own as the women’s orange and blue striped jacket, which is the same piece under a New York name.

The set is on the Game Day collection beside the same pair in Miami’s pink and blue on white. It is on our clearance rail for now, and both pieces can come back to us each spring to be stored, cleaned and repaired by the people who made them.
