This couples purple trimmed white mink set is the women’s and the men’s hip-length hooded jacket of the same design, sold and fitted as one: white skins worked vertically, a full hood on each, a zip to the chin, and a band of royal purple beside gold down both sides of each zip and round every forearm. On the two of you the bands line up at the shoulder and the cuff, and from across a car park you read as one idea.

The white ground is what makes the pair work at night. Under stadium lights a dark fur disappears and a white one is the brightest thing on the concourse, with the purple and gold sitting on it like paint.
