Description
Brown is what shows this coat off, because brown has depth where black only has shape. This dark brown mink coat runs a deep, glossy coffee through the body with the underfur lighting up warmer wherever the skins turn, and the plush cuffs and hem band are a shade softer again, so the edges of the coat read lighter than the middle. In daylight you can see every one of those tones; in black you would see none of them.
The neck is collarless, finished with a narrow band like a cardigan, and the front closes on a concealed placket so the fur runs unbroken from shoulder to floor. A fur belt with a flat gold buckle draws it in at the waist and lets the skirt fall full below. Each wrist has a deep, plush cuff turned back over the sleeve, and the same fur is laid in a wide band around the hem.
Made and fitted in our own workroom on West 30th Street, hem set to your height before it leaves. See it beside our brown mink coats and the other full length mink coats we cut, and it is on the clearance rail for now. Sold on its own; the gloves, bag and boots are styling.
