On a pale garment the shape has to do the work the colour is not doing. There is no contrast to rely on, so everything you see is light and shadow: the peplum frill throws a soft line across the hip, the gathered cuffs throw another at the elbow, and those two shadows are the entire design. Put the same cut in black and you would barely find them.
This ivory white ruffled mink jacket is a warm cream rather than a cold white, which keeps it kind next to skin and stops it going grey beside a true white shirt. The neckline is plain and round with one crystal button at the throat.
