Description
This is the one people stop in the street for. A golden tan mink fur bomber jacket is warm honey through the pile with paler tips, the colour a wild mink actually is, and on a long-haired skin worked this full it catches every bit of low winter light. Against a blue jean it is the whole outfit, and against a grey January afternoon it is the only warm thing on the block.
Like the other two it is built to be worn two ways. The fur hood zips off to leave a stand collar, so the same jacket goes from a hooded piece you live in on a cold Saturday to something you can wear into a restaurant. The body is a blouson with elastic at the cuff and hem, a full-length zip, two buttoned cargo pockets high on the chest and two hand pockets seamed in underneath.
Cut and fitted in our own workroom on West 30th Street, sleeves set to your length before it goes out. See it with our men’s fur bomber jackets and our men’s mink coats, and bring it back each spring to be stored, cleaned and repaired by the people who made it.
