The whole family, in the same jacket. This family red trimmed white mink set is four hooded jackets of one design, two adult and two children’s, each in white skins worked vertically with a full hood, a zip to the chin and a band of red edged in gold down both sides of the zip and round each forearm. The children’s are cut on the same pattern, not shrunk from it, so the hood is a hood and the band sits where it does on the grown-ups.

Four jackets means four fittings, and we do them together in our own workroom on West 30th Street. Children grow; a hem or a sleeve on theirs is let down here when it needs to be, which is the reason to buy a child a fur that was made to be altered rather than one that was not. Say the children’s ages when you order and we take it from there.

The adult jackets are also sold on their own and as a pair on the Game Day collection. The family set is on our clearance rail for now, and all four pieces can come back to us each spring to be stored, cleaned and repaired by the people who made them.
