Description
Head to toe in white with two lines of red is a strong look, and this men’s red trimmed white mink is built to carry it. The band of red edged in gold runs from the top of the hood down both sides of the zip to the hem and once round each forearm; the rest is plain white skins worked vertically, so the piece reads as a column with a red seam. Kansas City’s colours, on the coldest night of the season, photographed at the gate.
The hood is full and cut from the same fur. The zip runs to the chin. The hem stops square at the hip, so it sits over a white jean or a black one without bunching, and the sleeves clear a glove. Worn open over a gold turtleneck and a plaid scarf, as in the photograph, the two bands frame the scarf; zipped, they meet as one stripe.
Cut and fitted in our own workroom on West 30th Street. See the rest of our men’s furs, the women’s cut, the pair and the family set on the Game Day collection, and bring it back each spring to be stored, cleaned and repaired. Sold on its own; the cap, scarf and gloves are styling.
