New Feature by Marc Kaufman Furs
SEE IT ON YOU.
Mahogany is one of the most beloved natural mink colors — a deep, glossy reddish-brown that catches the light like fine wood. A mahogany mink coat is warm in tone and warm to wear, flattering against almost every complexion. Marc Kaufman Furs has selected and matched mahogany mink in New York City since 1870, and this collection brings together mahogany mink coats, jackets, and strollers in this signature shade.
Mahogany mink isn't dyed — its warm brown color comes from the pelt itself, which is why matching matters so much. Building an even, luminous mahogany coat means selecting pelts whose tone and sheen flow together seamlessly. Choose a full-length mahogany mink coat for timeless elegance, or a mahogany mink jacket or stroller for everyday luxury. Many pieces feature sheared, let-out, or directional work that brings out the color's depth.
A mink coat is an investment, and mahogany's warm tone only stays rich with proper care. Our specialists match every piece by hand and back it with the in-house cleaning, glazing, and cold storage that keep mink supple and glowing for decades. Most pieces can be sized or made to order.
