Women’s Green Trimmed White Mink Hooded Jacket with Black Stripe for Football Game Day 2638

Description

The trim is a pinstripe, not a stripe. On this women’s green trimmed white mink the colour runs as one narrow band of kelly green with a black edge, down both sides of the zip from the hood to the hem and once round each forearm, and that is the whole of it. No striped pockets, no bands across the body. Against the white the green reads from the far side of a stadium and up close it is a single clean line, which is why this one goes over a green turtleneck as easily as over a jersey.

The skins are worked vertically, so the jacket hangs long and straight rather than ribbed, and the hood is a full one, cut from the same fur and deep enough to go up in real snow. It closes with a centre zip and stops at the hip. New Jersey’s football crowd wears these colours, and the jacket was photographed where they do.

Made in our own workroom on West 30th Street and fitted here. The men’s cut and the pair are on the Game Day collection, it is on the clearance rail for now, and it can come back to us each spring to be stored, cleaned and repaired. Sold on its own; the leggings and boots are styling.
