Women’s Lime Trimmed White Mink Hooded Jacket with Navy Stripe for Football Game Day 2483

Lime green is a colour almost nobody puts on a fur, which is exactly why this women’s lime trimmed white mink works. The band runs a bright lime beside a deep navy, down both sides of the zip and once round each forearm, and against the white the lime is electric while the navy holds it steady. Seattle wears these two together, and on a grey Pacific afternoon they are the brightest thing on the concourse.

The body is white skins worked vertically, so the jacket hangs straight with the hands in the pockets, which is how it was photographed. A full hood in the same fur, a zip to the chin, a hem at the hip that sits over a navy legging and a tall boot. It is a jacket for rain as much as snow: mink sheds water, and the hood is the reason.

Made and fitted in our own workroom on West 30th Street. It belongs with our white mink coats, the men’s cut and the pair are on the Game Day collection, and it can come back to us each spring to be stored, cleaned and repaired. Sold on its own; the hat and scarf are styling.
