Women’s Navy Trimmed White Mink Hooded Jacket with Red Stripe for Football Game Day 1291

Navy beside red on white is the quietest of the three trims, and on this women’s navy trimmed white mink it is also the most tailored. The band runs down both sides of the zip from the hood to the hem and once round each forearm, navy on the outside and red on the inside, so with the zip closed the two reds meet in the middle and the navy frames them. New England’s football crowd wears exactly this, and it goes just as well with a navy legging and a heeled boot in the city.

The body is white skins worked vertically, so the jacket hangs straight and stays sleek through the waist. The hood is full and cut from the same fur; down, it sits flat between the shoulders and frames the face like a collar. A zip to the chin and a hem at the hip. The headband in the photograph is styling and is not part of the jacket.

Made and fitted in our own workroom on West 30th Street. It sits with our mink jackets, the green and the royal blue versions are on the Game Day collection, and it can come back to us each spring to be stored, cleaned and repaired. Sold on its own; the leggings and boots are styling.
