Red Mink Horizontal Jacket 2262

Description

A short mink jacket banded across the body. The rows are the design: horizontal work takes more skins and more seaming than a straight cut, and it puts the fur into relief so the jacket catches light in lines rather than as one flat surface.

The red is dyed. Six pounds, so it wears like a heavy jacket rather than a coat and stays comfortable indoors.

We have cut and altered fur in New York since 1870. Sizing, shortening, restyling and relining are all done in our own workroom, and nothing goes out until it fits.
