Full Length Navy Blue Mink Coat with Notch Collar & Puffed Bell Sleeves 1167

Description

Navy is a dyed colour, and dye is where most navy furs come apart: a year in and the tips have gone grey, or the whole thing has drifted towards black. These skins are dyed through to a deep midnight and matched afterwards rather than before, so the colour holds its blue instead of fading off at the guard hair. In daylight it reads unmistakably navy. After dark it passes for black, which is most of the reason to own one.

The cut is a navy blue mink coat with notch collar, full length to the ankle, with a wide notched lapel and a twin-buckle crocodile-embossed belt at the waist. The sleeve narrows to just past the elbow and then opens into a gathered bell, strapped and buckled at the wrist so the volume sits still. Nothing about it is quiet, but all of it is one colour, which is what keeps it wearable.
