Description

Burgundy is the one that does the most work after dark. Under daylight it reads as a deep wine with the guard hair lifting to a warmer red at the tips; under a restaurant light it goes almost black and only moves when you do. This burgundy mink crop jacket is cut short, stopping at the natural waist, which is what makes it work over a long dress as easily as over denim.

The front is the argument for it: five crocodile-embossed leather straps on square gold buckles, running from the stand collar to the leather band at the hem, with the same leather turned back at the cuffs and buckled. It is closer to military frogging than to a fur coat fastening, and it is what stops a short fur jacket reading as soft.
