Description
Five straps, five square gold buckles, running from the stand collar to the leather band at the hem. On a black mink crop jacket the hardware is the whole design: against dark fur the gold is the only thing that catches a light, so the jacket reads as tailoring rather than as something thrown on.
The leather is crocodile-embossed and appears four times over — the straps, the band at the hem, the turned-back cuffs and their buckles — which is what holds the shape of a jacket this short. It ends at the natural waist. Nothing about that length is forgiving, so it is measured on you and altered here before it goes anywhere.
