Description
The cuff is what separates this one from the other five. Where the rest finish in a flounce of the same pile as the body, this lavender mink jacket turns back at the wrist into a deep band of long plush fur that stands away from the sleeve on its own. It is a great deal of extra material, and it is why the sleeve holds a bell shape rather than draping.
Everything above the wrist follows the family. Cropped to the waist, open at the front with nothing to fasten, a rounded collar standing slightly clear of the neck, and a full three-quarter sleeve. The colour is a soft grey-violet rather than a sweet purple, which is why it sits comfortably beside silver, charcoal and navy instead of fighting them.
A cuff this wide wants a bare forearm or one bracelet, not a watch and three bangles. It is a sleeve with an opinion. Cut on West 30th Street and alterable to fit.
