Description
On a pale coat there is no contrast doing any work, so every line you can see is one the cutter put there. There are three: the collar at the throat, the turn-back cuffs at the wrist, and the band of fur across the hem. That is the whole design, and on this white mink stroller you can read all three from across a room.
Put the identical pattern in black and you would have to hunt for them. That is why a pale fur is a harder thing to make well — nothing hides, and a border that wanders by half an inch is visible to anyone.
