Finnish raccoon is exceptionally resilient, with long, straight guard hairs and dense underwool that hold their structure cleanly across the shoulders of an overcoat or suit jacket.

Styles range from classic pillbox-style fox hats and rounded bubble hats to functional fox fur bags and tailored neckpieces. Our fox hats come in deep black, light crystal, and warm red fox pelts, offering close-fitting protection against freezing winds. The fox bags add tactile colour to cold-weather dressing, crafted in black as well as vivid shades including royal blue, powder blue, bright yellow, and purple. Our raccoon collars provide generous width at the neckline, in contrasting colourways such as sky blue with green, red, white tipped in burgundy, clean black and white tips, and multi-colour combinations. If you want the smallest pieces, the headbands and ear muffs are where most people start.

Marc Kaufman Furs has operated continuously since 1870, crafting our fur accessories by hand inside our own workroom on West 30th Street in Manhattan. We inspect each pelt individually for hair consistency and leather suppleness before matching skins and hand-stitching linings. Because we maintain our own bench in New York, any piece from this collection can be fitted to your sizing, whether you need a hat adjusted or a collar closure repositioned. We also provide complete aftercare on site, including climate-controlled summer storage, gentle hand cleaning, glazing, and future remodeling to keep your furs in working order year after year.
